As an older adult, how would you rate the overall quality of life in your community?
DOROT is excited to partner with the New York State Office for the Aging (NYSOFA) on NYSOFA’s Community Assessment Survey for Older Adults.
If you are 60+, please respond by March 31, 2023 to help inform future state policies. The survey is anonymous and only takes 10 to 15 minutes of your time. Please take the survey HERE.
Survey results will help inform state priorities for older adults as NYSOFA prepares its four-year plan to the federal government – a document which guides service delivery and policy development for aging services programs that support New York’s 4.6 million older adults.
Under the direction of Governor Kathy Hochul, New York is developing a comprehensive Master Plan for Aging. The Master Plan for Aging is designed to ensure that older adults and individuals of all ages can live healthy, fulfilling lives while aging with dignity and independence. The community assessment survey results will also provide further information to support the goals of the Master Plan for Aging.
The survey is anonymous and only takes 10-15 minutes of your time.
